Instructors

Our instructors are all fully qualified and insured.

Charlie

Charlie is the newest member to the team and cannot wait to get teaching! After leaving school, she went to professional dance college where she trained in dance and musical theatre. Her passion for fitness and dance led her to train to become an instructor in Boogie Bounce and Broadway Boogie. She has recently qualified to become a Supa Fresh Instructor for us and has nearly completed her Level 2 Exercise To Music (or is a fully qualified L2 ETM instructor- if you post after i’ve finished the course). 


Likes: Keeping fit and healthy and socialising with friends!
Loves: Musicals, her family and Michael Bublé!Dislikes: Injections- needle phobia!

Interests:  Dancing and travelling!

Best moment ever: Teaching my first ever fitness class-Boogie Bounce! I loved seeing everyone smiling and having fun!

Matt

Matt Philpot is a health and fitness professional and owner/founder of ATP Health and Fitness Norwich Limited. His passion for staying fit and healthy started when serving in the Armed Forces, where it was vital he stayed 100 percent fit! Staying in shape played a big part of his life and army career making him recognise that maintaining a healthy lifestyle, establishing good eating habits, and participating in regular exercise were key for not only keeping in shape, more importantly, it helps you feel fantastic. His enjoyment for exercise was the catalyst to pursue a career as a fitness instructor and in 2009, after serving eight years, ATP Health and Fitness Norwich was born.

Interests: Keeping healthy

Ann-Marie

Ann-Marie initially qualified to teach aerobics and free weights in 1994, and has since progressed to qualify in a variety of fitness instruction and exercise, including: advanced personal training, sports and weight management nutrition, GP exercise referral, pilates, fitness yoga, indoor cycling, circuits, pre & post natal and kettle bells.

As the years have passed by – with natural ageing taking its course on the body – Ann-Marie has learned to appreciate more than ever the need to participate in a range of fitness programs. Her belief is that exercise is inclusive for all, and nobody should be excluded from the benefits exercise has to offer, especially to your quality of life.

Likes: Running, and working out in the gym
Loves: Karate is a large part of life, and a hobby shared with the family
Current aspiration: Competing in karate competitions alongside her daughter, and eventually her son
Dislikes: Exclusion
Most challenging moment: Completing the London Marathon in 1997
Interests: Intrinsic biomechanics of the body

Louise

Louise is ATP’s most recent member of the team, and is a fully qualified fitness and boxercise instructor.

Her passion for keeping fit along with her energy and enthusiasm hold no bounds, as does her passion for running, staying in shape and life in general.

Likes: Prosecco
Loves: Her family
Dislikes: Spiders
Best ever moment: Qualifying as a boxercise instructor
Interests: Camping, in her beloved VW camper van”
